Tennis player Jaqueline Cristian, 71st in the WTA rankings, is endorsed by Genesis Property

22 February 2022. Genesis Property, one of Romania's leading Class A office developers, is investing in the development of tennis player Jaqueline Cristian, currently ranked 71st in the WTA rankings. The partnership is part of Genesis Property's broad strategy to support talented young people in Romania, reflected in the company's business and dedicated projects.

Jaqueline Cristian, 23 years old, started playing on the professional circuit in 2017, playing over 30 matches in WTA tournaments so far, where she managed over 100 aces.

„It is very important for a tennis player to have as many supporters and fans as possible. For me, Genesis Property is one of the most important partners in my professional development. I always try to be an example for young talented people in Romania and show them that they can develop professionally here too. If you work hard and succeed, you'll be able to attract strong partners like Genesis Property, to support your journey to success”, said Jaqueline Cristian.

In partnership with Genesis Property, Jaqueline Cristian will be able to promote the importance of sport and education among young people, as well as a model of success based on discipline and perseverance. Genesis Property’s image, a company with a 20 year’ reputation built on principles like pioneering and performance, is reflected in the image of a talented sportswoman at the beginning of a promising path, based on the same principles.

„Jaqueline Cristian is a very talented player with a lot of potential, who is now heading to the top of world tennis and can make a major contribution to Romania's image in the world. Young people are the future of a society, but in Romania they don't always get the support they need and often look abroad to develop their talent and accelerate their careers. At Genesis Property, we believe that it is our responsibility to get involved and to support the next generation to continue to put Romania on the global performance map”, said Liviu Tudor, Genesis Property founder and president of the European Property Federation.

One of Genesis Property's largest initiatives to support young people has been the development of Romania's first private student campus. Since its foundation in 2009, West Gate Studios has supported the education and professional development of thousands of students in Romania. The campus offers both modern and comfortable accommodation, as well as multiple options for socializing, studying and leisure. Students benefit from the comfort of fully furnished and equipped accommodation with increased safety (24/24 monitoring and security), programs and activities such as sports competitions, theme parties and workshops. In addition, since the beginning of the pandemic, additional cleaning and sanitation measures have been implemented to increase the health of the indoor spaces.

Liviu Tudor, Genesis Property founder, also supported the organization of the educational project Y-Platform, in partnership with AIESEC, a global, non-profit, student-run association, aiming to support talented young people with entrepreneurial vision. The awards covered the cost of accredited entrepreneurship courses and an international scholarship to the Oxford International Business Summer School.
